Shipping: GeoGearStore ships geocaching supplies five days a week.  Orders are typically processed within 24 hours (embroidered backpacks 48 hours) and sent the following shipping day.  Occasionally circumstances arrive that delay individual orders a few days but we strive to keep this shipping schedule whenever possible.

      
What are shipping cost based on?  At GeoGearStore we do not add a handling charge to your shipping cost.  The rate calculator uses the weight and quantity of your geocaching products to determine the shipping cost directly from the shipping carrier.  This system is not perfect so, if for any reason you feel the quoted shipping is unreasonably high, please email us and we'll look into other methods.

     

What about International Shipping?  Yes, we ship most of our geocaching supplies internationally with USPS Global Priority Mail®.  We do not ship ammo boxes or coffee cups internationally.
       

What is the 90 Day Warranty?  Our 90 Day warranty is our promise to you that the products that we sell are not only durable, but also are well suited for Geocaching.  If for any reason you don't agree, just return any product to us for a full refund.

       

What are the payment options at GeoGearStore.com?  You can pay securely using a credit card or by selecting the Paypal® option at checkout.  If you prefer, you may print your Shopping Cart and call us with your credit card information or mail your printed Shopping cart and a check or money order to GeoGear.  Sorry, but we do not ship COD.  Available Now- use MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express- no Paypal® account required, just select the Credit Card option during Check Out.

      

Why is my order being denied? As an extra measure of security against internet fraud our credit card processor checks information such as the billing address you provide, against the one supplied by your credit card company, if the two do not match the transaction is denied.  They acknowledge that the error message that you receive does not explain why the transaction was denied, but they are working to fix that.  Note: Not all credit card processors are as diligent so your card may work elsewhere.

       

 Who/What is GeoGear?  GeoGear and GeoGearStore.com are owned and operated by the family geocaching team KGB-7.  We are a Michigan family of seven, (mom, dad and five kids ages 10 years thru 11 months).  No, we are not Russian spies; our team name is an acronym for our last initial, K, Girls, Boys -7 of us.  We founded GeoGear in 2005 because we enjoy geocaching as a family and want to do what we can to help others enjoy the sport that we love.  We have over 100 finds in six states.  One of our favorite products is the GeoGear Backpack; this product is based on the pack that my daughters assembled so that "we will have what we need when we get there".  We hope that you will enjoy geocaching and our products as much as we do.  Hope to see you on the hunt!
